Summary

Under (U.S. Code Title 10 §1056), help is available for Military members and, where applicable, their families to manage service-required relocation by providing standardized information and services through various coordinated relocation assistance programs.

Eligibility

airmen walking with an American Flag Retired Air National Guard Service members are not entitled to relocation allowances or services.   Military and Family Readiness Centers (M&FRC) provide relocation assistance to members of the Air National Guard and their families when serving on extended federal active duty orders.

Air National Guard Service members are not entitled to permanent change of station (PCS) benefits unless orders specifically authorize PCS allowances.  However, Airmen serving in the AGR program are entitled to PCS allowances outlined in the "Regular Air Force: Active Duty" fact sheet.
