Summary

Time away from duties and training is critical for the continued well-being of service members. The Department of the Air Force provides a number of benefits to provide service members opportunities for time away from their jobs.

Eligibility

Air National Guard Service members on drill status are not eligible to participate in the various leave programs.  Only those serving on active duty or initial active duty for training or active duty training for a period of 30 or more consecutive days for which they are entitled to pay or members of the Air National Guard serving on full-time duty are eligible to participate in the various leave programs.   tree at sunset
