Summary

The Employment Assistance Program (EAP) is operated through Military & Family Readiness Centers (M&FRCs). The program works with Department of Defense customers who are military, civilians, retirees, and family members in identifying short and long-term employment readiness goals. The Employment Assistance Program refers participants to education and/or training opportunities that can assist customers in achieving personal career goals in the private and public sectors. The M&FRC provides comprehensive services to ensure customers are equipped with adequate knowledge and assistance to aid in their job search. 

Eligibility

Retired Reserve Service members, their spouses, and family members are eligible for the Employment Assistance Program.

Benefit Highlights

The Employment Assistance Program (EAP) provides services to military spouses, active duty Military, Reserve and National Guard, Wounded Warriors, Retirees, DoD Civilians, and all family members. The M&FRC team provides counseling and several classes to enhance individual office personel around a conference tableemployment skills. Volunteer Resources Program
Volunteer Resources is operated through the Military & Family Readiness Centers (M&FRCs). The program collaborates with on and/or off-base agencies for the purpose of referring Airmen, Guardians, spouses, and other family members for volunteer opportunities and making it easy for individuals to get involved within their community. Volunteers receive the necessary orientation and initial training to fulfill their volunteer responsibilities. Additionally, the M&FRC administers the Air Force Volunteer Excellence Award (VEA), a Chief of Staff of the United States Air Force (CSAF) level award, to recognize volunteer contributions in the local civilian community of military family community.
